Free Health Insurance
March 9th, 2010 Posted in Ski Holiday InsuranceLow cost or free medical care, this is what so many uninsured people are after in America nowadays, and although there are programs and organizations ready to help them, their resources are totally insufficient for the high demand of services. People postpone or neglect the treatment of minor health conditions and their condition aggravates; sometimes they start seeking free health insurance a bit too late. Yet, in the absence of proper treatment, even the harmless of colds could become a life threat for a weakened immune system.
Children receive free health insurance as part of federal programs. There is no charge for immunizations, emergency treatment or hospitalization. Families with kids receive support from local governments. Guidance is available and so is assistance; just ask for them. As for individuals, it is very difficult to get free health insurance. There are exceptions to this, but they are rare and difficult to access.
An alternative to free health insurance is the access to free medical investigations and treatments provided by some non-profit and pro-life organizations. Pregnant women, children and senior citizens have priority in such facilities. Most of the treatments provided in this regime fall in the category of preventive care. Women can receive free birth control or test for breast and ovarian cancer. The only issue here is the access to information.
Unfortunately, such organizations are like a drop of water in the ocean if we think of the huge need of medical health care that is out of reach for millions of Americans. A lot of pressure is put on the federal government to take measures in this direction. The private market sector does not provide any form of free insurance health, therefore, the hopes remain with Medicare and Medline to come up with solutions for a deepening crisis.
No matter how desperate or delicate your financial situation may appear, do not ignore the importance of medical care for you and your children. If you are employed, do your best to access an affordable insurance plan to get health and dental coverage for your family.
